Background and Objective It is important to consider dysfunctional beliefs about sleep when conducting cognitive-behavioral therapy for insomnia. The purpose of this study was examine the reliability validity a Dysfunctional Beliefs Sleep-2 items (DBS-2) scale in general population clinical sample.Methods Our examined DBS-2 (group I, n = 374) sample subjects with insomnia disorders II, 105). An online survey targeting conducted over course January 10–18, 2022, retrospective medical records among patients who visited Asan Medical Center Sleep Clinic first time between September 2021 May 2022. internal consistency measured using split-half coefficients, factor analysis used determine its validity. Using Insomnia Severity Index (ISI) Attitudes Sleep-16 (DBAS-16), convergence explored.Results Split-half coefficients were 0.862 0.855 disorder. overall report score significantly correlated ISI (r 0.26, p < 0.001) DBAS-16 0.43, population, 0.45, 0.50, sample. Both groups had an optimal cut-off 13 scale.Conclusions We found that scale, two-item ultra-brief rating could accurately measure patients.
